The name of PMCC derived from the region of Gilgit-Baltistan which falls in high altitude regions of the south-east Asia. The foundation of this region on the globe is such that some of world’s highest mountain peaks and largest glaciers have been installed by nature.
The greatest challenge, of the mountain communities seems to be generating the transparent and accountable management system of human, natural, social and financial resources for the purposes of equitable and sustainable development, in the context of a political, social and institutional environment that upholds: natural resources, sustainable development, wild life, gems & minerals, human/child/women rights, poverty alleviation, institutional development and the rule of law.

The PMCC organogram outlines a structured and collaborative hierarchy led by the Board of Directors, with the Company Secretary/CEO overseeing all core divisions. The structure includes the TAPD Division, RAS Division, and Admin & Finance, each managed by designated heads and supported by specialists, consultants, and required staff. The TAPD Division handles training and development, while the RAS Division focuses on research and data analysis. Admin and Finance oversee clerical operations, administrative support, and financial management. Project Management functions centrally with its own concern specialists and staff to support all departments.
